When NG Turf sent its best representatives to the TPI 2014 International Education Conference and Field Day, we knew they’d make the most of it. With 14 countries and over 180 farms represented, the turfgrass knowledge was growing strong. Educational seminars ranged from improving customer service to sustainable turfgrass production. Our turgrass professionals strolled through agricultural exhibits, learning about the latest landscaping technology and turf care products. And now that we’re settled back into our Georgia offices, we’re implementing new strategies for better turfgrass.
Why Does NG Turf Attend Agricultural Conferences?
Just like doctors attend yearly seminars to stay current on medical breakthroughs, turfgrass professionals come together to share the latest agricultural trends. Through conferences like TPI Field Day, the NG Turf representatives can build contacts with sod growers across the globe, study new trends in planting and turf care, and continually improve our business. Turfgrass Professionals International is the only global advancer of the turfgrass industry. They provide leading turfgrass companies worldwide with the best information on scientific advancements in agriculture, ecological trends and sustainability, and the production of quality sod.

- John Deere has provided over $400,000 in turf management equipment to restore turfgrass at the National Mall
- Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course in Orlando recently hosted a Lawn Institute Memorial Golf Tournament to raise awareness about turfgrass misinformation
