Currently, at NG Turf, we grow 10 different types of sod. Here, you will find sod that is suitable for virtually any application, be it a residential lawn, the tee boxes at a golf course, or a high school athletic field. NG Turf has six sod farms located entirely within the state of Georgia, as well as its own fleet of truck that deliver many different types of sod throughout the Southeast, including Atlanta, Macon, Warner Robins, Chattanooga, and Birmingham.
Zeon Zoysia – This is our #1 selling grass. It is very shade tolerant, soft textured, and not susceptible to thatch. Zeon Zoysia is the “Cadillac” of grasses.
JaMur Zoysia – JaMur is tolerant of shade but not as tolerant as Zeon. Because it is easy to mow and requires only minimal fertilization, it is an ideal low-maintenance type of sod.
TifGrand Bermuda – TifGrand is the darkest type of Bermuda grass available, as well as the only Bermuda that tolerates shade.
Tifway419 Bermuda – The most popular type of Bermuda of the last 40 years. It is cold hardy, resistant to disease, and perfect for a variety of applications.
Rebel Supreme Fescue – NG Turf harvests this particular type of sod year-round, and is its exclusively licensed grower.
