- The Strand Theatre
The Strand Theatre is a noted landmark on the historic Marietta Square. It started as a major motion picture house in 1935 and remained as such until it closed its doors as a movie house in 1976.
In 2009 The Strand Theatre officially reopened as the Earl Smith Strand Theatre. Currently you can rent The Strand for private events, including the Lumiere Lounge, rooftop terrace, or even the auditorium for a private movie showing.
- Theatre in the Square
Merietta’s Theatre in the Square is a melting pot of cultural experiences telling stories of Ethnic America in a black box theatre. It is a place where all are welcomed, and differences are celebrated. Check out the current and upcoming shows.
- Out of Box Theatre
Out of Box Theatre is known for producing offbeat, exciting, daring, thrilling works and performing them in an intimate, black box setting. They aim to provide “a home for shows and artists that want to step outside the norm and stretch their creative horizons.”

- Ghosts of Marietta tour
During a Ghosts of Marietta tour, tour guides tell stories based on a mix of documented sightings, firsthand experiences, and history. There are several tour options available to choose from:
-The Haunted Walking Tour will take you on a ~90 minute lantern-led, walking tour through historic downtown Marietta, Georgia.
-During the Scaryetta Haunted Trolley Tour you will ride a trolley and visit the Historic Marietta Square, the City Cemetery, Confederate Cemetery, and the National Cemetery, as well as several historic Marietta homes.
-The Haunted Pub Crawl teams up with several of Marietta’s “haunted watering holes”.
- Red Hare Brewing Company Tour
The Red hare Brewing Company offers tours to both small and large groups who want to explore what Marietta is made of while trying some awesome local beer.

- Marietta Food Tour
Marietta Food Tours are geared toward locals and tourists alike, in the hopes of introducing you to a hidden gem of culinary proportions. There are between 10 and 12 food tastings per tour and most guests find the tastings enough for a hearty lunch or satisfying supper.

Mountain to River Trail
The Mountain to River Trail is a paved trail beginning at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park and stretches 1.8 miles to the commercial area off Roselane Street in Marietta, Georgia.
