Ordering, Delivery, and Farm Pickup FAQ

Yes! Anyone can buy sod directly from any of our four sod farms.

For deliveries we have a one pallet minimum. If you pick up sod at one of our farm locations you can get any amount you need, even just a few pieces.

How many square feet of sod are in one pallet?

One pallet of sod = 504 square feet

What is the lead time to order and receive sod?

Sod is cut fresh to order. If you would like sod to be delivered or picked up, please call a few days in advance. Sometimes we are able to deliver or have a pick up order ready with as little as 24 hours notice.

What days do you deliver?

We offer convenient delivery Monday morning thru Saturday.

What days and time is sod available for pickup?

Sod is available for pick up at all locations Monday through Friday year round and on Saturdays March through October. You will be given a specific pick up time once the sod is ordered through one of our team members.

Can I return sod if I order too much?

Unfortunately, sod is perishable and cut to order, so we do not accept returns.

Zeon Zoysiagrass is a wonderful all around turfgrass. It is a great choice between the wider bladed Meyer but not as fine as Emerald. Very traffic tolerant, drought tolerant and durable. When installed properly this grass gives instant satisfaction.

The fairway lies offered by Zeon to-date have no comparison. The downside to Zeon fairways comes when you have to be a guest or play in a tournament elsewhere and are relegated to 419 or some other variety of Bermuda grass.

In the past, I very seldom recommend bermudagrass for a home lawn. The main reason was poor performance in shaded areas close to the house, under trees, etc. Now with the development of TifGrand Bermuda, the world's first shade tolerant bermuda, I can use it with confidence.

I ordered 8 pallets of Tifgrand for my yard and called 3 places. I found NG Turf’s prices to be the most competitive. More importantly, the delivery was scheduled for 8am, Saturday and the driver showed up around 7:30ish. No complaints here.

First, the sales department was wonderful and extremely helpful. I ordered 2500 square feet of Meyer Zoysia, and the office set up delivery very quickly.
