Rebel Supreme Fescue
Rebel Supreme Fescue, a cool season grass, maintains its lush green color year round. Offering improved heat and drought resistance compared to most Tall Fescues, Rebel Supreme performs well in full sun, but also tolerates dense shade. It features a dark green color and medium blade. Watering
- Once established, follow general recommendations of 1″ of water from rain or irrigation per week, depending on soil conditions and climate.
- Although more heat and drought resistant than other Tall Fescues, Rebel Supreme will perform better with increased watering in periods of heat or drought.

Installation
- Test soil prior to installation and amend as needed, ideal pH 6.0 to 6.5.
- Install in areas of full sun to partial shade.
- Rebel Supreme can be planted year round in most climates and retains its vibrant green color through all four seasons.

Mowing
- Maintain at recommended mowing height of 2″ to 3″, raising to a range of 3″ to 4″ during summer to avoid heat stress.
- Follow general mowing recommendations, keeping mower blades sharp and removing no more than 1/3 of grass height per mowing.

Fertilizing
- Apply 1 to 2 lb of fertilizer annually per 1,000 square feet in fall and spring.
- One to two applications in September and February of a balanced fertilizer, 10-10-10 or 13-13-13.
- Fertilizing is not recommended for Rebel Supreme during the summer.
Diseases
- Diseases most detrimental to Rebel Supreme attack during summer months.
- Reduce nitrogen applications to minimize the threat of disease.
