🏫 Project: Campus Quad Refresh
🌱 Sod Variety: Rebel Supreme Fescue
📍 Location: Oxford College of Emory University, Oxford, Georgia
🌿 Installer: Russell Landscape Group
A healthy, attractive lawn can completely change the feel of a shared outdoor space, especially in a setting as historic and welcoming as Oxford College of Emory University. Russell Landscape Group refreshed the Campus Quad with a trailer load of Rebel Supreme Fescue from NG Turf, helping enhance one of the most visible and well-used areas on campus.
Known for its classic collegiate setting, Oxford College features a central quad with tree-lined walkways and gathering spaces that serve as an important backdrop for student life, campus events, and everyday campus activity. Rebel Supreme Fescue was a strong fit for this project, bringing rich color, a clean finished appearance, and the kind of immediate visual impact that helps prominent landscapes stand out.
On a college campus, appearance matters year-round. From daily foot traffic to campus events, the Quad needs grass that creates a polished, inviting look in every season. One of the biggest advantages of Fescue is that it stays green throughout the year, including fall and winter when many students, faculty, and visitors are spending time on campus. That year-round color is likely one of the reasons Rebel Supreme Fescue was such a smart choice for this highly visible campus setting.
The installation gave the Oxford Campus Quad a noticeably refreshed appearance, helping create an outdoor space that looks cared for, welcoming, and ready to be enjoyed in every season.
For projects like this one, Rebel Supreme Fescue offers several key benefits:
- Green color throughout the year
- A dense, uniform appearance for a clean finished result
- Strong visual impact immediately after installation
- An ideal option for prominent commercial and institutional landscapes
- Great curb appeal during fall and winter when warm-season grass is dormant
Russell Landscape Group stated that NG Turf’s Fescue was the best quality they had ever seen, making this project a great example of how premium grass can make a visible difference right away.
At NG Turf, we know that successful projects depend on more than just delivery. They depend on communication, consistency, and grass quality that stands out from the moment it is installed. We were proud to support Russell Landscape Group on this campus project and help contribute to the refreshed look of one of Oxford College’s most recognizable outdoor spaces.
Projects like this show how the right grass for the setting can provide both immediate beauty and lasting seasonal color, especially in spaces that need to look their best throughout the school year.
